The role of the synchronizer
When the adjacent gears are converted to each other, the same steps should be taken for the shifting of the gears, but the rotational angular speed requirements of the former to-be-joined ring gear and the joint sleeve are the same, while the latter is to be engaged with the gear meshing point.

The line speed requirements are the same, but the principle of velocity analysis is the same.
The shifting operation of the transmission, especially the shifting operation from the high-grade to the low-end, is complicated, and it is easy to generate the impact between the gear teeth or the spline teeth. In order to simplify the operation and avoid the impact between the teeth, a synchronizer can be provided in the shifting device.
The inertial synchronizer is synchronized by friction, and a special mechanism is provided thereon to ensure that the sleeve and the spline ring to be engaged are impossible to contact before synchronization, thereby avoiding the impact between the teeth.
